GM Harmonic Balancer GM 3.8L, 231
Harmonic Balancer er en front-end tilbehørskomponent som er koblet til veivakselen til en motor. Den vanlige konstruksjonen består av et indre knutepunkt og en ytre ringbinding i gummi.
Hensikten er å redusere motorvibrasjonen og fungerer som en remskive for drivbelter.
Harmonisk balanser kalles også harmonisk spjeld, vibrasjonsrem, veivakselskive, veivakselspjeld og veivakselbalanser, blant andre.
