In automotive suspension, a control arm, also known as an A-arm, is a hinged suspension link between the chassis and the suspension upright or hub that carries the wheel. It can help connect and stabilize the vehicle's suspension to the subframe of the vehicle.
Control arms are with serviceable bushings on either end where they meet the undercarriage or spindle of the vehicle.
As the rubber on the bushings aged or broken, they will no longer provide a rigid connection and cause problems in handle and ride quality. It is possible to press out the original worn bushing and press in a replacement instead of replacing the complete control arm.
The control arm bushing is developed to the OE design, and it exactly matches the fit and function.
