A control arm, commonly known as an A-arm in automotive suspension, is a hinged suspension link between the chassis and the suspension upright or hub that bears the wheel. It can help connect and stabilize the vehicle's suspension to the vehicle's subframe.
Control arms have serviceable bushings on either end where they meet the vehicle's undercarriage or spindle.
As the rubber on the bushings ages or breaks, they no longer provide a rigid connection and cause handling and ride quality issues. Instead of replacing the entire control arm, it is possible to press out the old worn bushing and press in a replacement.
The control arm bushing was produced in accordance with the OE design and precisely matches the fit and function.
